it works: the shutter fires happily at 1/50s (slightly less happily at 1/25) and the bellows are light-tight

but it's still pretty compact- and it has an effective image stabilizer built in

Cosmetic condition is good, with some surface wear. Worth noting that "lightweight" in this case is used relative to other tripods of this size, not in the general sense (it's still just shy of 4kg with the integrated three way head.)
